The Challenge: Comprehensive Water Routing

Every home has a unique footprint, and standard, pieced-together gutters simply can’t handle the complex rooflines of a large estate. For this project, the main house featured massive roof surface areas that channeled immense volumes of water during heavy Michigan downpours. A separate pool house on the property also needed a dedicated drainage solution to keep pool-side areas safe and erosion-free.

Our mission was clear: tear out the old, failing system and design a modern, heavy-duty setup that offered maximum protection without sacrificing the home’s stunning curb appeal.

The Solution: Custom Engineering on Site

We brought our specialized equipment directly to the property to custom-fabricate the entire system to the exact inches required. Working on-site allows us to deliver a tailored fit that standard retail materials simply can't replicate.

While we initially planned a mixed system, a last-minute decision by the homeowner upgraded the entire property to maximum commercial-grade capacity:

Complete Property Upgrade (6” Commercial Seamless Gutters): To ensure total peace of mind, the homeowner opted to upgrade both the main home and the pool house to crisp white, 6-inch seamless gutters. Custom-built on-site with zero joints, they eliminate leak points entirely. To ensure they stay rock-solid against heavy winter ice and snow, We reinforced the entire system with hidden hanger clips every 16–18 inches.

Oversized 3x4 Downspouts: To match the massive water capacity of the 6-inch troughs, we installed corrugated 3x4 commercial downspouts on both structures. These were precision-fitted with proper extension lengths to ensure water is cast safely away from the foundations and pool-side decking.
GutterRX Leaf Protection: To make this entire system completely maintenance-free, we fortified the setup with aluminum GutterRX leaf guards. This stops leaves, twigs, and debris from clogging the channels, keeping the water flowing freely all year long.
